THE WINNER IS......

Well without further ado its time to announce the winner of our very first Choredography Video on line competition.
1ST Place goes to Manako and Mint the Beagle.  Congratulations you two.
Heres what the judges said.....  " a free flowing routine with a high degree of difficulty included.  The routine was kept well to the beat.  A clever twist of the body in the crawl ensured that this movement wasn't an actual repeat.  A lively little performance."

And because we know that dancing dogs spend a lot of time in front of the camera we hope you can make good use of your prize.

2nd Place goes to Anne & Denzil with their circus routine.
Heres what the judges said..."A sweet little free style routine with some very difficult tricks included.  The tricks were appropriate to the size of the dog and Anne & Denzil appeared to enjoying every minute of it.   I appreciated the effort that had gone into the costume for this routine.  Careful thought had been given to the choreography which fitted the music perfectly with great timing." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6tJP4S6aqc&feature=youtube_gdata

3rd Place goes to Leanne & Pebbles with their marching routine,
Here's what the judges said......  "A nice little routine where the tricks had been selected to incorporate the dogs natural behaviours.   Jumps and weaves were used quite often, however these were complimented by some lovely back moves and foot taps.  I love the humorous shoe tying move and the back up and catch."
Thanks Leanne for posting your blooper too,  this isn't as easy as it looks, especially when your dancing buddy goes on strike.
4th place goes to Cynthia & wee Eva the Surfer girl .
Here's what the judges said....."The strength of this routine was in the use of clever hand targetting.  There were some difficult movements including hind leg movements and backing around the legs.  No missed tricks, shows that the routine was well within ghe levels of difficulty for this little dog.  Very cute."    Watch out for that shark next time Eva.

And the audience vote   .................. drumroll................ goes to Rosalind and Fletcher doing
THE LIMBO

Heres what the judges said...............  We'd like to see Ros go under the lowest limbo pole.   Oops no the judges didn't say that at all, my typist is making things up.
The judges actually said..."the idea behind this routine is very good, and there are some clever moves in it.   Good team work was apparent.  Well done, you two, keep developing this, it will be a real crowd pleaser."

We have a copy of the latest Fetch magazine for all our competitors so will be in touch to send these to you.  We will also send your judges comment sheets if you would like them.

Last but not least a special thanks to our judges Jan Corles,  Janna Symons, and Laurel Greaves.   Thanks ladies.
And thanks to Tony & Kate at Ribbons Plus for the gorgeous rosettes.

Good Luck to any of you if you are competing at the NDOA.  And watch us for future posts on here and on our Facebook page.   Thanks to  all of you for your support.
